Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, Wagon 4

Thu, May 4th, 2017, 7:32 am

Wagon 4 backed in the shop, and the craftsmen at Specialized (SFES), got to work.  Chief Mike Sauder, provided his vision, on where he wanted equipment located, and the SFES crew, started the process.  As work progressed, if a better equipment mounting solution was possible, is was discussed and a final method was determined.  SFES strived to mount equipment, utilizing the vertical strut that was installed at the manufacturer, to minimize drilling holes throughout the Fire Body and cab.  This method takes a little more time, but leaves the Fire Department, with the versatility to be able to make future equipment mounting changes, without having drilled holes, left over when an equipment mounting bracket is relocated.  Wagon 4 is ready for the street!   Thanks to Chief Brian Enterline, and Deputy Chief Mike Sauder!  Always great to work with you and your Department!

Everything mounted without drilling a hole in the Body!
